Designing a Neutral Nursery

In my pregnancy announcement post I mentioned that I did a lot of the nursery design before knowing Baby S was a boy. That of course means I relied heavily on gender neutral pieces – a decision rooted more in practicality of investing in pieces that would work for future babies (regardless of their gender).

The crib, the dresser, the glider, the rug, and the side table are all white and beige. I am adding grey and blue into our baby boy’s nursery also, but I wanted the warmer look of beige for the mostly white room.
Truth be told, I’ve had a very hard time finding nurseries that I love as inspiration. But here are a few that I definitely pinned!

Beautiful, right?! So here we go… neutral essentials that make a great base for anyone waiting to find out the gender! Or anyone who loves neutral colors! Also including a few favorite accents I’ve found and will be using in baby boy’s nursery!

crib | side table | glider | striped rug | dresser

frames | crib sheet | basket | riding toy | wooden toy | goodnight sign
