The White Paint Colors We’ve Used in Our Homes

Hey all! Sorry–busy week! It’s moving week! I’m working all day, Dan’s w/ the kiddos, we’re both trying to squeeze in packing, then take turns with bed time and the other one doing a quick run over to the house in the evening w/ stuff.

But here is a quick answer to a question I am frequently asked… here are the white paints we’ve used in a few of our homes!

We will realistically have white paint in our main living area and hallways. BUT I might not do it in our dining room, my office, our bedroom, and the boys’ rooms. I know. CRAZY! But we also might. Haha so stay tuned.

Current Home: Sherwin Williams Extra White

Our builder called and asked us what white we wanted from Sherwin Williams. I had no idea, and after some googling, randomly went with Extra White. It turned out great! Doesn’t pick up any other color (sometimes a white can look grey or beige or even purple). This is a great white. It’s on all of the trim and walls in our home. Literally every room except Henry’s which we painted Parma Gray by Farrow & Ball.

#SchmiedskiGreystone: Behr’s Ultra Pure White

We did all of the Greystone in Behr’s Ultra Pure White. Again, the landlord called and was like “what color?” I knew this was is a super safe white choice and available at all Home Depot’s in huge bins if you’re looking to paint the whole house!

My Lincoln Park Apartment: Farrow & Ball’s Wimborne White

This one is definitely warmer and absolutely stunning.
