And on week three of self-isolating, I took to rearranging the living room.
I ordered two new chairs from Serena and Lily with credit I had to their store with the intention of using them in our next place. (LONG update on all of that I have for you coming soon.)
But they arrived now and I wanted to see how they looked flanking the fireplace so I did some rearranging when the boys napped the other day. Paired with some luxe new springy pillows and the room has a fresh feel!
The Avignon chair has been a favorite of mine for a few years now. I actually wanted to get it for our Greystone but never did. I love the curves, similar to a roll arm sofa, and caster legs. The Georgica chair is a totally different look–sleek and contemporary and fresh with its wooden frame and cane back. Two totally different styles but I like how they pair together!
I love the mismatched look; not that I didn’t like the symmetry of the Caitlin chairs (which I still have and have no plans of getting rid of). But this is a nice way to mix it up with different lines and the wooden chair gives nice warm tones.
