Instagram is a treasure trove when it comes to finding new brands and products. (Actually, it’s how I did a lot of the planning for our destination wedding, using hashtags to search for local vendors!)
And it’s what I’ve been using to search out baby brands! There are so many amazing independent companies out there offering really special, unique, organic pieces, toys, and clothing options… I’m excited to start sharing them with you! (And registering for them personally!)
Here are five extra special baby clothing brands I’ve found and fell in love with… most of them are still offering holiday delivery!
Monica started her shop here in Chicago, manufacturing amazing cotton and knit organic baby clothes for kiddies. The brand is known for their amazingly soft basics, fun eye-catching patterns, and now they’re expanding into some amazing wardrobe pieces like sweaters and tutu dresses.
They’ll even do hospital delivery gifts in certain cities for when baby is born and you need to get a gift in a pinch! This velour ruffle top for girls and this knit outfit for boys are two of my favorites.
For the minimalist baby. Hah just kidding.
I know words on clothing is a common trend… “Made in Chicago.” “Daddy’s #1 Girl.” et al. But, and please don’t kill me for saying this, I’d say 9 out of 10 times it misses the mark or quickly crosses the line into… not good.
Enter Organic Zoo who has figured out how to put words on baby clothes that work oh so well and so cute. Understated, pithy, and perfect. Singular word expressions that say it all: bestie. Milk. Chocolate. I love them all.
Plus all of Organic ZOO’s clothes are designed for either gender, and are made to be mixed and matched.
Juniper Baby caught my eye on Instagram when I saw photos of these darling rompers, jumpers, sweaters and onesies popping up over and over again. How sweet and unique for the fashionable tot. Oh and they have amazing accessory and shoe options (for boy and girl)! And they’re also based in Chicago!
I just received a couple of items from Mori in the mail today–see them in my insta stories!–straight from England! These organic cotton and bamboo basics are as cozy as they are classic. My favorites are the grey and white stripe pattern, and the subtle reindeer pattern for Christmas.
They make such great gifts–especially for your friends who are waiting to find out the gender! And they also offer monogram options. I love that the special, breathable fabric helps regulate the baby’s body temperature so they’re not too hot or too cold.
So last but not least is Oeuf. This brand is… something else. They do really really amazing, almost magical things with their knitwear for babies and kids. Like these bunny ear hooded alpaca sweaters. Or this sweater with knit unicorn horn on the hood. They are by no means a budget brand, but if you’re looking for that really unique, extra special item for baby or to gift, Oeuf probably has what you’re looking for!
