I posted this photo of our bedroom decorated for the holiday on Instagram Friday night and I just can’t believe the response from ya’ll! So many questions about where we got things (even though you can find it all in the liketoknow.it app here), I thought I’d share direct sources here! Keep reading…
- Add string lights – hang them from a headboard, footboard, art above the bed, or around your window… they instantly magic up the room.
- Add mini trees – I put one of these on each of our nightstands for a touch of traditional decor.
- Add a festive candle – to set the holiday mood, of course
- Add a seasonal throw – change out the throw or pillows for the season. Velvet, plaids, chunky knits, faux fur, and wool all add a nice touch!
Hope this helps!

Where is your great personalized marble coaster from?
Hello! I love absolutely everything you put in your home. And while I am more of a dark colors kind of person in my own designing, I love your white and bright house. The one thing I often struggle with with interiors is the finishing pieces. I would love to read a blog post on how you bring a room across the finish line. I love my furniture and blankets, and my house is mainly decorated with things I’ve collected on my travels and art I have painted or photographs I have taken myself. I do this because I love having meaning in my home. I want everything in my house to reflect me in some way, but that also holds me back from buying a decorative step stool or a large art print that might just add the completed look I am going for. I am impressed with how you cover so much space with art and decor, but still maintain the easy, flowing, clean vibe. When I try to add more things, it sometimes just looks cluttered (which is NOT what I want haha). So I trend towards less is more, but still there is often something missing. There are a few particular spots on my home that drive me nuts! Because I know it would look better with something there, but I can’t fo the life of me figure out what that something is! So this is my long way of suggesting a blog post on how to really finish a room. I love everything your write! Thanks for sharing it all 🙂
I like the makeover of this bedroom! Really you are so talented. I am impressed with your work and got some great ideas. Thanks for sharing.
Wow! I’m surprised to see your holiday decoration! It’s really beautiful. I’m a busy working mom. So, can’t get enough time to organize my room well. But your post is inspiring! Definitely will follow you. Thanks!
